If your BMW E46 has the BMW factory fitted CD/Tape player with the climate controls directly below you will require a Heater Controls Relocation Panel. There are two variants of this part (different sizes), this itemis for the Single Slot version BMW Part No. 51167001411. If above your sunglass holder looks similar to the picture shown or you have less than two buttons then it is most likely the single slot relocation kit is required.
